The Livingston Roundup Rodeo runs July 1st through July 4th. If you are planning to stay in the area for a few extra days, we highly recommend snagging tickets for one of the nights! Tickets are available online now (reserved or general admission), and additional tickets will be available in person at a few locations in the Bozeman/Livingston area starting in April. Checkout the website for more details.
Enjoy a soak at the local hot springs! Pools are filled with a constant flow of fresh mineral water from the earth.
There are beautiful hikes in the Valley for all levels. A few we recommend are:
-- Pine Creek Falls or Pine Creek Lake: you can make this out-and-back hike as easy or hard as you would like. A moderate hike will take you up to the falls, or if you want something more strenuous, hike all the way up to the lake. Trekking poles recommended!
-- Suce Creek Trail: you will have a few options from this trailhead, we recommend the 5.9 mile moderate loop hike.
**Don't forget your bear spray!
Take part in the classic Montana pastime of fly fishing!
We recommend booking a guided float down the Yellowstone River with Gallatin River Guides.
** Please note, the Yellowstone River is a freestone river, which means it could be not suitable for a float in late June depending on snowfall this winter. Please talk through details and backup plans with GRG before finalizing booking.
